I. Larghetto
Renowned flutist, Ransom Wilson, walks us through the ins and outs of interpreting Handel’s sonata in F major. He takes us through the different articulation, dynamic, and note length options we have as we interpret this wonderful work.
II. Allegro
Ransom Wilson guides us through this second movement discussing his views on interpretation in note length and dynamics.
III. Siciliana
In this lesson, we have the beautiful Siciliana movement. Guided by Ransom Wilson, we are given the tools to interpret this movement, adding appropriate ornamentation and dynamics.
IV. Giga/Allegro
In this lesson, Ransom Wilson offers his take on articulation, note-length, and dynamic shaping as we end this piece with a jig.
